Amber Mullins
CCA Head of School
I am originally from Palm Beach County where I grew up and received most of my education. I later moved to Gainesville and attended the University of Florida where I completed both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education. During my time there, I met my husband, Andy, who is also a University of Florida graduate. We relocated to Vero Beach in 2016 to be closer to my parents.
My faith journey began early in my childhood, as I attended a private Catholic school where faith was integrated into both my education and home life. This foundation of faith provided me with the strength and guidance necessary to navigate life’s challenges. Guided by my Christian faith, I find strength and assurance in Proverbs 3:5-6, which encourages us to trust in the Lord with all our heart, to not lean on our own understanding, and to acknowledge Him in all ways, knowing He will direct our paths.
Throughout my career, I have worked at two esteemed independent schools — Oak Hall and Saint Edward’s — where I developed a deep passion for nurturing students and inspiring them to reach their potential. I felt called to take the next step in my career by becoming the new Head of School at Christ Church, trusting that God had laid all my paths and experiences to prepare me for this position. I believe that every step of my journey has been guided by God's hand.
I am blessed to be surrounded and supported by my family including my husband, Andy Mullins, and our three beautiful children, Brooke, Abby, and Jackson, as well as my mom and stepdad.
