Worship Services

We are united to the global Church of our past and present by our shared tradition and use of Scriptures, Sacraments, and Holy Spirit-focused worship. By integrating these three elements in our services, we together can hear scriptures and preaching of the Word, encounter God's presence through Holy Communion, and express worship of Him through prayer and singing.

Our liturgy, or systemized order of worship, follows the ACNA Book of Common Prayer, with each service designed to point our attention to the person of Jesus Christ.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

10:30 am Eucharist

Our Sunday Eucharist is our worship service patterned after the traditions of the Anglican Church that follow a journey from the world into the eternal presence of God (through songs, prayers, Scripture lessons, and Holy Communion), and back into the world again.

The term 'Eucharist' means thanksgiving, and we assemble in worship to give thanks to God for His blessings and faithfulness. Music selections include standard hymns, diverse choral anthems, and well-known praise songs.

This service is preceded by Sunday School for all ages at 9:00 am and a casual gathering in the cafe for coffee and snacks.

THURSDAY MORNINGS

9:30 am CCA Family Chapel

Join us weekly for Chapel on Thursdays in the Nave to encounter God in a simple liturgy and Bible lesson geared for the Christ Church Academy Lower School and Kindergarten Readiness students. Led by the Chaplain, the service incorporates student participation in the procession, readings, and worship.
