COME AND GROW WITH US!

Lenten Study & Soup Supper | Wednesdays at 5:30 pm

All are invited to join our Lenten Study on four Wednesdays, Feb. 28, March 6, 13, and 20 in the Community Center. We will start with a simple soup supper at 5:30 pm and start the study at 6 pm, each week led by a member of our clergy. Please RSVP to the parish office for the soup supper.

Sunday School   |   9:00 - 10:00 am
A study for adults and teens each week in the Community Center. Our current series will explore the model of faith given to us by the journey of Abraham and goes through March 24, led by Fr. Hunter.

Nursery care is available for infants and preschoolers.

Coming up in April is Life In the Spirit, a class taught by Fr. Keith Allen. It will be held on Sundays at 9 am in the Community Center from April 14 through May 19.

Sunday Eucharist   |   10:30 am

Our Sunday worship service emphasizes the "three streams" of our Anglican faith: Scripture, Sacraments, and Spirit. The focus centers on the authority of Scripture and is expressed through observing the time-honored sacraments while experiencing the power, freedom, and ministry of the Holy Spirit. This is a liturgical service and includes Holy Communion; all baptized Christians are welcome to receive from the Lord's table.

Our service is also live-streamed. We look forward to seeing you!

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd   |   10:30 am, Sundays

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is one way we help to form the faith and spiritual life of children. This sensory experience is specific to children ages 3 to 6 years in the Kindergarten Room across from the Community Center. Children in 1st grade and up are encouraged to worship with their families, but may participate in the CGS program during the 10:30 Eucharist. We understand children are not usually still or silent, but we welcome them and believe there is great value to having them join us in worship. Our nursery for infants and toddlers is available.

Prayer Ministry

Deacon Kim Allen coordinates our Parish Prayer Ministry. If you need prayer or an appointment, please reach out to her via email. She is also a Spiritual Director for those who are seeking guidance in a closer walk with or discernment from the Lord.

Our Parish Prayer Team meets on Thursdays at 10 am to pray for the people and needs of the church. Always open to newcomers! Please contact Deacon Kim or any member of clergy if you wish to be involved.

Women’s Bible Study | Wednesdays at 9:30 am

All women are invited to learn big truths from the current study on the "little books" of the Minor Prophets and discover the presence of God is near in all things. We meet weekly on Wednesdays from 9:30 - 11:00 am in the Community Center for the winter term from Jan. 10 - March 27, 2024. Newcomers are always welcome.

Adult Bible Study | Thursdays at 7:30 am

The Adult Bible Class meets weekly on Thursday mornings in the Christ Church Library end of the Narthex and ends promptly at 8:30 am to accommodate our working members. The class will study the book of Acts during the winter semester and is taught by Dr. Bill Blackburn and John Campani. All material is provided at each class.

Daughters of the Holy Cross | Thursdays

The DOHC is a nurturing and empowering group of women and girls within the Anglican Church of North America who are united in committing their lives to the work and service of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and building up His Body, the Church, through Prayer, Service, Study and Evangelism.

Currently, they meet on the 4th Thursday of the month at 11 am followed by a simple lunch. For more information, please contact the Church Office. We look forward to getting to know more sisters in Christ.

Military Moms Prayer Group - Thursdays at 5 pm

Christ Church hosts the MMPG each week in the Community Center. The group of moms, moms-in-heart, and others with a loved one serving in the armed forces is non-denominational, open to the community, and always happy to receive new prayer warriors. They bring individual names of military personnel deployed or in training known to them to the Throne Room of God each week.

Christ Church Choir & Band

Make a joyful noise to the Lord! So says the Psalmist and we welcome new voices to support the 10:30 am Worship service. Choir rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 3:30 pm and band rehearsals are on Thursdays at 4:00 pm. We have openings for additional band members or orchestral musicians. The only requirements are a willing heart, time to attend rehearsals and Sunday services, and the ability to carry a tune or play your instrument under direction. If interested, please call Brady at the Church Office.
