Growing up in a family environment full of Irish lineage (Regan & McLaughlin), I was raised in the Catholic church. I served as an Altar Boy for many years while growing up in the Bahamas and experienced some very different church services, some that truthfully were quite scary for a very young boy. As I grew older I took the path that many often do, by leaving the church and living away from Jesus for some time.
While growing up I had a very restless spirit when it came to work and different job experiences. I couldn't be held to one thing or the other for long. I owned my own businesses until I got bored, then I would sell it or shut it down and move on.
I married my wife Jimi in 1978, started a family with two great daughters, Alanah and Crystal, and that changed things dramatically. Jimi was largely responsible for my relationship with Jesus and it truly saved my life in many ways.
We are blessed to have five grandchildren that all live in Vero with whom we spend most of our spare time. Christ Church has been a blessing to me in too many ways to list.
I have learned what it means to serve, how to survive through some very difficult times and still be blessed by it all by calling on my favorite verse; "Cast your cares on the Lord; He will sustain you, He will never let the Righteous fall" (Ps. 55:22).
